Quince look like an irregular pear that has been dusted with a bit of tan fuzz. They have a lovely scent of honey and apple that seems to float in the air.  There is something magical about quince…uncooked; their off white meat resembles the consistency of Styrofoam, but once cooked they transform into soft edible fruit, with an even more beautiful aroma and a lovely rosy color.  So our quince marmalade...sweet, honey like and beautiful.  Those who know are big fans...maybe it's time to try something new!
